Bauerfeind OmoLoc Shoulder Brace
PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The Bauerfeind OmoLoc® is a shoulder immobilization orthosis designed to hold the arm securely in position following shoulder surgery or reduction of a dislocated shoulder. By restricting movement of the shoulder joint, it helps relieve pain, protect healing tissues, and support post-operative recovery.
Featuring an abdominal support strap and three individually adjustable arm loops, the OmoLoc® maintains the arm in a neutral position with 0° shoulder abduction and the elbow flexed at approximately 90–100°. The arm loops can be positioned along the abdominal strap to accommodate individual anatomy and provide a secure, personalized fit.
Its lightweight, open construction makes the orthosis comfortable to wear while allowing easier access to the surgical area for personal hygiene and wound care. The design does not require a shoulder strap, helping avoid unnecessary pressure on the opposite shoulder and neck. The OmoLoc® can also be worn at night when recommended as part of the treatment plan.
