The Bauerfeind MyoTrain® is a breathable thigh support designed to provide adjustable compression and targeted support for muscle injuries affecting the thigh and hamstrings. It is suitable for conditions such as muscle strains, muscle fiber tears, ruptures, bruising, and myosclerosis, as well as for rehabilitation and prevention of recurrent injuries.

Its innovative combination of soft knitted fabric, adjustable tensioning straps, and two removable viscoelastic pressure pads allows compression to be tailored to the affected area and stage of recovery. The acute pad provides targeted compression immediately following an injury, while the larger functional pad features longitudinal ribbing designed to support lymphatic circulation and help reduce swelling, edema, and hematoma.

The MyoTrain® features a skin-friendly, breathable knit that helps manage moisture and maintain comfort during movement. Its adjustable VELCRO® Brand Fastening System allows the support to be put on and removed easily without assistance. The pads can be removed as recovery progresses, allowing the orthosis to be used during rehabilitation and for additional support against recurrent muscle injuries.

SIZING & FIT

Measure the thigh according to the official Bauerfeind MyoTrain® sizing guide.
Refer to the product measurement illustration to select the appropriate size.
Position the support over the affected thigh muscle, ensuring that the knitted fabric lies smoothly against the skin.
Position the appropriate viscoelastic pad over the affected area as directed by the product instructions or healthcare professional.
Secure the adjustable straps and apply compression evenly, ensuring a supportive fit without excessive pressure.
Check that the siliconized inner edge keeps the support securely in place during movement.
Remove or reposition the pads as appropriate for the stage of recovery and prescribed treatment.
Ensure the support does not cause numbness, tingling, skin discoloration, or increased discomfort.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Machine wash the support separately at 30°C using liquid detergent.
Remove the fastening straps if possible, or secure them to their designated fastening areas before washing.
Remove the pressure pads before washing whenever possible.
Place the support in a laundry net to help protect the knitted fabric.
Use a maximum spin speed of 500 revolutions per minute.
Do not tumble dry. Allow the support to air-dry naturally.
Avoid direct heat, which may damage the knitted fabric and affect the support's fit.
Wash the support regularly to help maintain the compression properties of the knitted fabric.
Follow the manufacturer's care instructions for the removable pads and other components.
