PRODUCT OVERVIEW

The Bauerfeind ManuLoc Rhizo long Plus® is a long hand orthosis designed to immobilize the entire hand and parts of the forearm while stabilizing the wrist, thumb, and long fingers. It provides protective immobilization to help relieve pain and reduce strain on affected joints following injuries, surgery, or conditions requiring comprehensive hand stabilization.

Featuring three anatomically pre-shaped aluminum stays, the orthosis helps maintain the wrist in a functional position while restricting excessive bending, stretching, and rotational movements. A dedicated thumb brace supports the thumb in an opposition position, while the adjustable finger support holds the palm and long fingers in either an extended hand position or the intrinsic-plus position.

Designed to support multi-stage treatment, the orthosis allows the thumb brace and finger support to be adjusted and removed as recovery progresses. Its lightweight construction, breathable materials, and full-length opening make it easy to put on and take off with one hand while providing secure, comfortable support.

SIZING & FIT

Measure according to the official Bauerfeind ManuLoc Rhizo long Plus® sizing guide.
Refer to the product measurement illustration to select the appropriate size.
Position the orthosis to support the wrist, thumb, palm, long fingers, and parts of the forearm.
Adjust the finger support to maintain the prescribed extended hand or intrinsic-plus position.
Secure all fastening straps evenly to achieve a stable, comfortable fit without excessive pressure.
Adjust or remove the thumb brace and finger support only as directed by a healthcare professional during the prescribed stages of treatment.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Hand wash separately in lukewarm water at a maximum temperature of 30°C using a mild detergent.
Remove the three support stays before washing.
Close all Velcro fasteners before washing to help prevent damage and maintain their fastening performance.
Do not expose the orthosis to direct heat, including radiators or direct sunlight.
Allow the orthosis to dry naturally before reinserting the support stays.
