PRODUCT OVERVIEW

The Bauerfeind GenuTrain OA is a knee orthosis designed to provide targeted relief and stabilization for people with osteoarthritis of the knee. Its innovative unloading system helps relieve pressure on either the medial (inner) or lateral (outer) compartment of the knee using a three-point principle. INDICATIONS

According to Bauerfeind the GenuTrain® OA is indicated for:

• Medial or lateral osteoarthritis of the knee.

• Instability of the knee joint (mediolateral).

• Unicompartmental cartilage or bone lesions.

• Conditions following cartilage surgery and cartilage growth procedures requiring unilateral postoperative relief.

• Following unilateral meniscal lesions.

• Ahlbäck’s disease (osteonecrosis).

• Osteochondrosis dissecans.

• Bone bruising (bone edema of the medial femoral condyle or tibial plateau).

SIZING & FIT

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Bauerfeind recommends the following care instructions:

• Machine wash separately at 30°C using liquid detergent.

• Remove Velcro straps if possible, or securely fasten them in their designated position.

• Remove pads or splints before washing if possible.

• Use a laundry net.

• Limit the spin cycle to a maximum of 500 RPM.

• Air-dry the brace; do not tumble-dry, as this may damage the knitted fabric.

• Wash the brace regularly to help maintain the compression properties of the knitted fabric.
