The Bauerfeind AchilloTrain® is an anatomically contoured ankle support designed to relieve the Achilles tendon, reduce discomfort, and support recovery while preserving natural mobility. It is suitable for individuals experiencing Achilles tendon pain or inflammation caused by excessive strain, chronic irritation, or post-operative conditions.

Featuring an integrated viscoelastic friction pad with targeted massage elements, the AchilloTrain® applies an intermittent compression massage along the Achilles tendon during movement. This helps stimulate the surrounding musculature and supports local circulation and metabolic activity. Its breathable Train Active Knit provides graduated medical compression and conforms to the natural shape of the foot for comfortable, supportive wear.

The brace features pressure-reduced edges to minimize constriction, a soft comfort zone across the instep to help prevent skin irritation, and integrated recessed grips for easier application and removal. Its slim, lightweight design fits comfortably inside most shoes. An optional heel wedge can provide additional relief by reducing strain on the Achilles tendon.

SIZING & FIT

Measure the circumference of the ankle according to the official Bauerfeind AchilloTrain® sizing guide.
Refer to the product measurement chart to select the appropriate size.
Slide the brace over the foot and position it so the integrated friction pad sits correctly along the Achilles tendon.
Ensure the knitted fabric fits smoothly around the ankle without bunching, slipping, or causing excessive pressure.
Use the integrated recessed grips to help put on and remove the brace comfortably.
If an optional heel wedge is supplied or recommended, position it according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Check that the brace remains comfortable during walking and does not cause skin irritation or excessive pressure.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Machine wash separately at 30°C using liquid detergent.
If the product has Velcro straps, remove them if possible or securely fasten them to their designated areas before washing.
Remove any detachable pads or splints before washing, where applicable.
Use a laundry net to help protect the knitted fabric.
Limit the spin cycle to a maximum of 500 revolutions per minute.
Air-dry naturally. Do not tumble-dry, as heat may damage the knitted fabric.
Wash the support regularly to help maintain its compression properties, elasticity, and hygiene.
