PRODUCT OVERVIEW

The Bauerfeind MOS-Genu is a robust, adjustable knee orthosis designed to provide external stabilization and targeted pressure relief for complex knee instability, ligament injuries, and osteoarthritis associated with leg axis misalignment. It is suitable for conservative treatment and postoperative rehabilitation following procedures such as ligament reconstruction, meniscal surgery, and corrective tibial osteotomy.

Its lightweight aluminum frame features anatomically contoured supports and adjustable joints with physiologically aligned pivot points. The joints can be adjusted in 10-degree increments, allowing individualized positioning and targeted relief of pressure on the affected knee compartment or collateral ligaments.

The MOS-Genu incorporates skin-friendly, breathable cushioning designed to provide a secure, comfortable fit. Condylar cushions of varying thicknesses help accommodate swelling around the knee joint, while adjustable straps and joints allow the orthosis to be tailored to individual anatomical and treatment requirements.

Available in standard and long frame versions, the MOS-Genu offers different support configurations depending on the severity of the injury, surgical procedure, and rehabilitation needs.

KEY FEATURES

Strong external stabilization: Provides support for complex knee instability and helps maintain the leg in the prescribed alignment.

Targeted pressure relief: Allows individualized unloading of the affected knee compartment and relief of stress on the collateral ligaments.

Lightweight aluminum frame: Combines strength and stability with reduced weight for comfortable extended wear.

Adjustable joint axes: Physiologically aligned pivot points can be adjusted in 10-degree increments to accommodate individual treatment requirements.

Anatomically contoured frame: Designed to follow the shape of the leg for secure positioning and effective support.

Skin-friendly, breathable cushioning: Helps improve comfort and reduce slipping during everyday movement.

Adaptable condylar pads: Cushions of varying thicknesses help accommodate swelling around the knee joint.

Standard and long versions: Offers different frame lengths to suit varying injury patterns and postoperative requirements.

Versatile treatment applications: Suitable for conservative functional therapy and postoperative stabilization following ligament, meniscal, and corrective bone procedures.
