The Bauerfeind ManuLoc® is a lightweight, anatomically contoured wrist orthosis designed to immobilize and protect the wrist following injuries, surgery, or irritation. It helps restrict painful wrist movements and reduce inappropriate mechanical stress while allowing the fingers and thumb to move freely for functional gripping and everyday activities.

Featuring anatomically shaped rigid aluminum stays, the ManuLoc® provides reliable stabilization to keep the wrist in a supported position. Its open design and generous thumb opening preserve finger mobility, allowing users to grasp and hold objects without unnecessarily restricting hand function.

The breathable, skin-friendly construction incorporates ventilation openings to promote airflow and help manage moisture during extended wear. Its slim, flat profile fits comfortably under clothing, while large micro-Velcro fasteners and integrated pull-back stops make application and removal straightforward, even when using one hand.

Designed for use on either the left or right wrist, the ManuLoc® combines effective immobilization with lightweight comfort and practical everyday functionality.

SIZING & FIT

Refer to the official Bauerfeind ManuLoc® sizing guide and product measurement chart to select the appropriate size.
Identify whether the orthosis is being fitted to the left or right wrist.
Open the micro-Velcro fasteners completely before application.
Position the orthosis along the wrist and forearm, ensuring the rigid aluminum stays align correctly with the hand and wrist.
Place the thumb through the designated opening and confirm that the fingers remain free to move.
Secure the fastening straps evenly, ensuring the orthosis holds the wrist comfortably without excessive pressure.
Check that the support remains stable during use and does not cause numbness, tingling, or changes in finger circulation.
Follow your healthcare professional's instructions regarding wrist positioning, wearing duration, and permitted activities.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Hand-wash separately in lukewarm water at a maximum temperature of 30°C using a mild detergent.
Remove all three rigid stays before washing.
Close the Velcro fasteners before washing to help preserve their fastening performance and prevent damage.
Clean the orthosis gently and avoid harsh cleaning agents.
Allow the orthosis to air-dry naturally.
Do not expose the product to direct heat, including radiators or direct sunlight.
Ensure the orthosis and its components are completely dry before reassembly and use.
