PRODUCT OVERVIEW

The Bauerfeind MalleoTrain® S is an anatomically contoured ankle brace designed to stabilize the ankle joint and protect against lateral twisting during movement. It is particularly suitable for individuals recovering from surgery, experiencing mild ankle sprains, or dealing with ligament instability and repeated overloading.

Featuring an individually adjustable, semi-rigid functional strap system, the MalleoTrain® S provides targeted support similar to a functional tape bandage. The strap wraps around the foot in a figure-eight pattern, stabilizing the connection between the midfoot, hindfoot, and lower leg while allowing natural movement and adjustable protection during physical activity.

Its breathable Train Active Knit fabric provides comfortable compression, helps support circulation, and activates the surrounding musculature. Anatomically contoured edges help reduce pressure and prevent constriction, while the soft, moisture-managing knit ensures a comfortable fit during everyday activities and sports.

SIZING & FIT

Measure the foot or ankle according to the official Bauerfeind MalleoTrain® S sizing guide.
Refer to the product measurement chart to select the appropriate size.
Position the brace around the ankle, ensuring the knitted section fits comfortably and anatomically.
Fasten the functional strap around the foot in a figure-eight pattern, following the manufacturer's fitting instructions.
Adjust the strap tension to achieve secure stabilization without excessive tightness or discomfort.
Ensure the brace remains comfortably positioned during movement and does not cause pressure points.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Machine wash separately at 30°C using liquid detergent.
Before washing, remove the Velcro straps if possible or securely fasten them to their designated areas.
Remove any detachable pads or splints before washing, where applicable.
Use a laundry net to help protect the knitted fabric.
Limit the spin cycle to a maximum of 500 revolutions per minute.
Air-dry naturally. Do not tumble-dry, as heat may damage the knitted fabric.
Wash the support regularly to help maintain the compression properties and hygiene of the knitted fabric.
