The Bauerfeind MalleoTrain® Plus is an anatomically contoured ankle support designed to relieve pain, improve ankle stability, and protect against lateral twisting following ankle injuries, sprains, or ligament weakness. It is also suitable for individuals experiencing chronic irritation or excessive strain on the ankle during sports and everyday activities.

Featuring a functional semi-elastic strap system, the MalleoTrain® Plus provides targeted stabilization similar to a sports tape bandage. The strap wraps around the foot in a figure-eight pattern, securing the ankle, midfoot, and hindfoot to help prevent outward twisting while preserving natural mobility.

Two elastic profile inserts positioned around the inner and outer ankle provide targeted compression and a gentle massage effect during movement. The three-dimensional Train Active Knit delivers comfortable, breathable compression, helping activate the surrounding musculature and support the ankle during physical activity. Its anatomically contoured design and pressure-reduced edges promote a secure, comfortable fit without unnecessary constriction.

SIZING & FIT

Measure the foot or ankle according to the official Bauerfeind MalleoTrain® Plus sizing guide.
Refer to the product measurement chart to select the appropriate size.
Position the support around the ankle, ensuring the knitted section fits comfortably and anatomically.
Ensure the profile inserts are correctly positioned around the inner and outer ankle.
Wrap the functional strap around the foot in a figure-eight pattern, following the manufacturer's fitting instructions.
Adjust the strap tension to achieve secure stabilization without excessive tightness or discomfort.
Check that the support remains in position during movement and does not cause pressure points.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Machine wash separately at 30°C using liquid detergent.
Before washing, remove the Velcro straps if possible or securely fasten them to their designated areas.
Remove any detachable pads or splints before washing, where applicable.
Use a laundry net to help protect the knitted fabric.
Limit the spin cycle to a maximum of 500 revolutions per minute.
Air-dry naturally. Do not tumble-dry, as heat may damage the knitted fabric.
Wash the support regularly to help maintain the compression properties, elasticity, and hygiene of the knitted fabric.
