PRODUCT OVERVIEW

The Bauerfeind LumboLoc® Unload is a lumbar support designed to provide enhanced stabilization, promote anatomically correct spinal posture, and help relieve strain on the lumbosacral region. Its integrated rigid metal corset stays provide effective support, while the large, anatomically contoured lumbosacral pad supports the natural lumbar lordosis and enhances wearing comfort and stability.

An additional abdominal pad increases compression and helps encourage spinal straightening. The height-adjustable functional tension strap allows indication-specific pressure distribution and targeted relief. Featuring breathable knitted fabric, an anatomical fit, and the Low Power Tension (LPT) strap system, the LumboLoc® Unload combines enhanced support with comfortable, adjustable wear.

INDICATIONS

• Acute and chronic lumbar spine pain
• Moderate lumbar sciatica associated with intervertebral disc protrusion or herniation
• Moderate radicular lumbar syndrome
• Severe degenerative changes and muscular insufficiency
• Conditions following disc herniation, including non-surgical and post-operative care
• Moderate facet syndrome
• Moderate lumbar deformity
• Ligamento-tendomyopathy
• Spondylolysis and Grade 1 or 2 spondylolisthesis

SIZING & FIT

• Measure the circumference of the torso according to the official Bauerfeind LumboLoc® Unload sizing guide.
• Refer to the product measurement illustration to select the appropriate size.
• Position the support around the lumbar and lumbosacral region, ensuring that the anatomical pad is correctly aligned with the lower back.
• Adjust the tension straps to achieve a secure fit and appropriate compression without compromising comfort.
• If the largest available size is too small, an optional extension panel can increase the maximum circumference by approximately 10 cm.
• Follow the manufacturer's fitting instructions or consult a healthcare professional to ensure proper positioning and support.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

• Hand wash the support separately at 30°C using a mild detergent.
• Close all Velcro fasteners before washing to help preserve their functionality and prevent damage.
• Separate the knitted fabric and belt components before cleaning.
• Remove the lumbosacral pad before cleaning.
• Clean the pad separately using a damp sponge.
• Allow the components to dry naturally and avoid direct heat sources.
